It all begins with your one-on-one consultation with our dentist! Here, it’s your time to discuss the results you’re looking for. Your dentist will examine your teeth and map out the best way to achieve your desired smile. Our team may also take digital scans as needed to get a complete picture of your overall treatment needs.



Preparation

Next, you will return to have your teeth prepared. During this process, your dentist will gently reshape each tooth by removing a tiny amount of enamel from the surface. This is done to ensure that each veneers looks and fits perfectly. Next, digital impressions will be taken of your teeth which will be used to fabricate your veneers at a dental lab.



Application

Once your veneers are ready, come back for your placement! The temporary veneers you were given during your last appointment will be removed and replaced with the final set. Your dentist will check each veneer to ensure the best possible look and fit. Finally, the veneers are bonded to the surfaces of your teeth to complete your smile makeover. Does it hurt to get veneers?



The process of getting veneers requires some minor tooth preparation. You and your dentist will discuss if local anesthesia is needed for your comfort. However, the preparation process is generally a painless experience. It’s normal to experience some minor tenderness or sensitivity in your teeth once your veneers have been placed, but this should pass in 1-2 days.

How long do veneers last?



The lifespan of your veneers will depend on the type you choose. Our ceramic veneers are some of the most durable available, lasting up to 20 years with good at-home care.

What are veneers made out of?



What kinds of problems do veneers fix?

How long does it take to get veneers?



Getting your veneers typically takes 2-3 visits over 3-4 weeks. The first visit is your initial consultation and treatment planning, while the second and third visits include making and applying your final veneers.
